Fuel Truck Driver/Aircraft Refueler

$25-$30 an Hour

JOB SUMMARY:

The Fuel Truck Driver/Aircraft Refueler plays an important role in supporting Helicopter Ground Operations. The position supports the fueling of helicopters in the field in addition to assisting with rigging of helicopters with long-line equipment for lifting while working with various contractors. Travel is associated with the position, as the work is often out of the area in remote and rugged terrain. Meals and accommodations are provided to the employee when traveling out of town.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Transport and refuel helicopters in remote locations

• Assist with helicopter rigging using long-line equipment

• Perform basic engine and vehicle maintenance

• Clean helicopters and vehicles

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ year of commercial driving experience

• Ability to drive in various terrains and weather conditions

• Experience with GPS and mobile technology

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Skills:

• Proficient with multi-axle tankers (Ford F550, Freightliner, Peterbilt)

• Basic mechanical skills (checking fluids, changing oil, etc.)

• Advanced GPS navigation skills

Licenses/Certifications Required:

• Valid Class A with Hazmat and Tank endorsement

• Clean CA DMV record

• Valid DOT Medical Card

Must Pass Screening Upon Conditional Offer:

• DOT drug test

• DOT background check

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.

• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday with overtime/weekends as needed

• Early morning starts (often before 7:00 AM)

• Flexible schedule required due to changing job demands
